2.   HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, some examples of HTML are:

 <!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>

 <h1>My First Heading</h1>

 <p>My first paragraph.</p>

 </body>
</html>

 This would come up as: 

My First Heading

My first paragraph.
